We are Jeffrey & Linda-two driven entrepreneurs who have built up a wealth of experience through years of hard work.
We met through an online dating platform and quickly discovered how much we had in common. Most importantly: our entrepreneurial spirit. We both started our businesses during the pandemic. We are both independent, possess great perseverance, and are true hard workers. However, hard work also has its downsides, and at our current age, our greatest wish is to start enjoying life in the sunny south. We certainly don’t want to sit still, but we do want to shape our lives in a different way.
That is why, after years of dedication and serving many dear customers, Linda has decided to sell her company, and Jeffrey will subsequently close his physical sneaker store.
While discussing all these upcoming changes, stories from customers in the shop naturally came up. Jeffrey told Linda about his experiences in the industry and the challenges he had encountered. “There are so many people who struggle to find unique and exclusive sneakers in larger sizes,” he said. Linda nodded in agreement: she understood the frustration of customers looking for something that truly represented them. As our conversation progressed, the idea emerged to start a new business together.
We decided to focus on the niche market of large-sized sneakers, with the goal of offering trend-sensitive and competitive options for everyone. Linda would bring her business experience and branding knowledge, while Jeffrey would share his expertise in sneakers. Together, they created a vision: a sneaker website for just larges sizes.
We designed our own logo, had stickers made, had our website built, and spoke with potential customers. Our enthusiasm was infectious, and we quickly received positive feedback from both current and future customers.
After months of preparation, the launch of the website finally arrived, and the responses have been overwhelmingly positive. The sneakers have been well-received, and demand is exceeding our expectations.
Together we learned, adapted our strategies, and built a strong community around our website. We love sharing our customers stories and creating a place where everyone with a large shoe size feels welcome.
Our dream has become a reality, and this is only the beginning of something beautiful.
